Financial abundance is very important to maintain health, personal safety and security, and the necessities of living. For many financial abundance seems to be a struggle or inconsistent at best and an elusive dream or completely unachievable at worst. Many people don’t understand why they stay stuck in lack and poverty while other people seem to have it all. Unfortunately, we are not taught how life really works as children or even as adults. You see, the reason why wealthy people seem to accumulate and hold on to wealth so easy is because they already have the beliefs, thoughts, and emotional foundation to be open to and accept that they are deserving of financial abundance and financial abundance comes easily to them. Just because you were not born into a wealthy family doesn’t mean you are not deserving of wealth or that it must only come to you through hard work, sacrifice, and struggle. You were born to receive all the good that life has to offer, you just need to believe it in your heart and mind, accept it with gratitude and grace, and change the old patterns of lack and limitation that have been running your life up until now.
The first step is awareness. Becoming consciously aware of the thought patterns and statements you make about financial prosperity or your lack of it. We live by 12 universal laws that are undisputable and applicable to every being and every problem even if we do not know what they are or understand them. The lack of understanding is the basis for all suffering in the world.
1. Law of Divine Oneness:
This is foundational law that the others derive from, which emphasizes the interconnectedness of all things. It states that beyond our five human senses, every belief, thought, action, and event is in some way connected to everyone and everything else. This law can seem farfetched, but in applying it to real life it doesn’t take long to see the beneficial results. It’s really all about being compassionate with yourself and everyone else around you. We are all created from the same stuff and originate from the same Source. We are all a part of a miraculous web of life and what each one of us expresses has a ripple effect with far-reaching, unknowable impact. The simplest way to practice this law is asking yourself every day in every interaction, “How can I be more compassionate and understanding toward myself and others?” When we learn and practice being compassionate this behavior increases our openness to good and allows us to experience more of what we want in our lives.
2. Law of Vibration:
At an atomic and subatomic level everything that exists is in constant motion, vibrating at a specific frequency. This not only applies to material substance, but also to each individual’s emotional and energetic frequency as well. This law states that our vibrational frequency can inform and form our physical experience. For example, you may be good at receiving money but perhaps you find it difficult hold on to or save it. This could be due to a vibrational resonance of fear or loss of money, or maybe you were taught that money goes out as fast as it comes in and that belief keeps you stuck in a pattern of financial limitation. You can shift or elevate your vibration in any number of ways including singing, yoga, dancing, qigong, sound bathing, helping someone in need, making a gratitude list, chakra work, meditating, or even the simple act of smiling.
3. Law of Correspondence:
This law asserts that patterns are magnified and repeat throughout the universe. On a physical and individual level our reality is a mirror or reflection of our mental and emotional state. “As above, so below. As within, so without.” Think of this law as events that happens because of you and for you, not to spite you or in spite of you. If your life is chaotic and lacking what you want or need it’s because there is mental and emotional chaos and fear inside you. If you are experiencing disturbing situations, take some quiet time for introspection and ask what the situation is showing you about yourself. There are almost always long-held traumas, resentments, or pain that require healing or forgiveness.
4. Law of Attraction:
Probably the most well-known universal law, this law states that like attracts like, and you get what you focus your attention and intention on. This law sounds simple, but there is another requirement for which many books and experts do not place enough importance. You must believe that what you are desiring is possible for you and you must create an emotional environment of already having that which you are desiring before it is visibly manifest. If you are sending out a desire for financial abundance, but your head tells you that you aren’t deserving or you’re not smart enough, or not good enough then those thoughts and beliefs will cancel out the desires you are trying to bring into reality. Likewise if you are desiring wealth, but you are constantly focused on your lack of financial resources and feeling anxious, worried, fearful, or angry about you apparent lack of money those emotions will cancel out your ability to manifest what you desire. Gratitude and appreciation are the fast track for manifesting what you desire. Acting as if you already have what you want is the super glue that brings it to you.
5. Law of Inspired Action:
This law is interrelated to the law of attraction and states that one must take actionable steps toward ones dreams and desires to create or attract it into our lives. This is where intuition and divine guidance play a big role. Inspiration often comes from within when we slow down, quiet our mind and invite clarity and guidance. Inspired action is almost always a gentle nudge, sometimes insistent, but never loud, abrasive, or taunting. When we can let go of our need to control and arrange how something should happen or work out we open ourselves up to all of the possibilities our narrow focus could never contemplate. Become open to exploring new ways of achieving our goals. Even paths that don’t seem to be going where you want to go can lead to unimaginable ways of achieving our end result. When we learn to listen and trust our intuition and divine guidance that when the magic and miracles happen.
6. Law of Perpetual Transmutation of Energy:
This law declares that at an energetic level, everything in the cosmos is continuously growing or shifting. All action is preceded by a thought. Thoughts themselves have the capability to eventually manifest in our physical experience. Have you ever noticed how being around certain people seems to change your mood or attitude? When we are unconscious about how the energy around us impacts us we allow other people and places to control or adversely affect our own energy field and emotional equilibrium. Emotions are energy vibrations or frequencies that have the capacity to heal or hurt our physical body, mind, and environment. Higher frequencies, like gratitude, kindness, compassion, and joy can transmute lower ones, like anger, jealousy, resentment, and hatred, when applied with conscious intention. Knowing this law we can actively seek to shift or transmute any negative energy around us with our thoughts, words, and actions.
7. Law of Cause and Effect:
This law states that everything we think, say, and do causes certain effects that may not be apparent right away. These effects will manifest in our future as a direct result of our mental and physical actions of the past. Think of every thought, word, and action as a wish or a prayer. Now the effect of these ‘wishes’ or ‘prayers’ is directly related to the level or intensity of the emotion imparted to them at the moment of expression. In other words, if you are feeling a very strong emotion when you are thinking certain repetitive thoughts, saying certain phrases or when you are having an argument with someone, or doing something you really love to do, the intensity of the emotional charge around it is what produces the effect and determines the length of time it takes to bring about the effect. When you have a lot of oppositional emotional experiences they tend to cancel one another out, so the effects may not be apparent for many years. Likewise, when you spend much of your time in a specific emotional state the effects of that state will typically become apparent fairly rapidly.
8. Law of Compensation:
This law states that whatever effort you put into something will be returned. Simply put, “You reap what you sow.” The law of compensation works in connection with the laws of attraction and correspondence. In order to obtain your goals you must contribute toward them in some way. To utilize this law to its full potential listening to your intuition and your higher guidance is necessary. This does not require hard work, but it does require effort to be of service to others in a way that supports your desired goal. Even small daily intuitive nudges to help, aid, assist, or otherwise contribute toward a purpose or mission will get you your just rewards.
9. Law of Relativity:
This law proposes that in reality everything in our world is neutral. As human beings we are predisposed to compare things and people to create a sense of meaning, importance, or relevance. In actuality there is no meaning to anything except that which we give based on our perspective and perception. Applying this law can help us navigate the challenges in our lives with greater compassion and develop a more peaceful, harmonious relationship between ourselves and our world. For example, if we’re feeling resentful or fearful about our financial situation, it may be that we’re comparing our abundance to someone else’s. We can then choose to redirect our focus toward appreciating what we have regardless of what everyone else may appear to have. Appearances can be deceiving.
10. Law of Polarity:
This law, also known as the law of duality, states that everything has an equal opposite; good and bad, love and hate, hot and cold, wet and dry. The awakening comes when we understand that these are all just different sides of the same coin. From contrast comes clarity. Without the opportunity to experience negative and positive we could never truly know what we desire more of and what we want less of. We could never truly appreciate the blessings in life if we had nothing but blessings. Nothing ever stays the same forever. We are constantly redefining and reimagining what we want our life to look, feel, and be like. Without the experience of sickness we would not have the renewed desire for vibrant health. Without experiencing heart break how would we know what unconditional love feels like? Use your understanding of this law when you are facing a difficult situation like a financial crisis or a health challenge to tune into what this experience can do for you.
For example, I suffered a severe health crisis several years ago. It was a very scary experience for me because I had spent years developing my mental, physical, and emotional resilience, but along the way I had let go of many of the practices that had helped me maintain balance and harmony. I had turned away from being who and what I was truly meant to be and forced myself to do and be someone I was not. These opposing forces and contradictions created long-term mental and emotional stress, anxiety, and toxicity which eventually led to a breakdown in my body. At first I was terrified I was dying and I had to resign from my career which caused me much distress about my finances, but the illness enabled/forced me to return to the practices and tools that I had developed to balance and harmonize my being and it also allowed me to pursue my true passion as a spiritual development coach.
11. Law of Rhythm:
This law states that cycles are a natural part of the universe. Just like the seasons on our planet, our lives follow natural rhythms when we take the time to notice. Many people expect their life to be consistent or unchanging because they need routine and predictability to feel in control. Just like Mother Nature changing the weather patterns to counteract the destructive, unsustainable practices of industrialized nations, so to do our lives shift and change to spur us to adapt and grow. Our body rhythms also ebb and flow in tune with Mother Nature and the unnatural environments we subject them to. When we disconnect to our natural body rhythms and ignore the signals our body sends us informing us what we need we create the climate and environment for disease and illness to manifest.
12. Law of Gender:
The final law of gender states that masculine and feminine energy exists in all things. For thousands of years much of the world’s societies have operated from a masculine, ‘hurry up and do’ mentality. We are now moving toward a more balanced approach to living where the feminine energy of being thoughtful, compassionate, passionate, and generous is taking a more prominent role in everyday life. Achieving your own masculine/feminine balance between doing and being can help you live more authentically, peacefully, and purposefully.
All of these laws can help you improve and harmonize every aspect of your life from health and relationships to finances and fulfillment. It’s not about how rapidly you can incorporate these laws into your life. It’s about getting a deeper understanding of the way life works and how interconnected we are to everything and everyone. Right now this planet is experiencing a monumental shift in consciousness and energy, the likes of which have never been seen or felt before. There is no roadmap or historical reference to maneuver through this, but there is plenty of divine support and guidance as well as your own internal intuitive intelligence. All you have to do is ask for assistance and be open and receptive to whatever form or fashion it is given.
